What is the simplest way to move a piano upstairs?

Hello Anne,

I regret there is no one line answer...You don't mention if the stairs are wide or tight, or have turns, and if so, if there are landings on the turns or wedge shaped steps. Nor do you describe the type or size of the piano...or if you are considering some DIY moving (!)

When I am considering undertaking stairwork, I usually ask for photos of the stairs and piano along with measurements of both the stairs and piano.
After receiving this information, it usually becomes clear if the job will be simple, requires a site visit, or is not practicable at all.

So...from here you could:
1) Read some articles I wrote about piano moving tips

2) Go to my enquiries page and complete the form. This will give me your email to reply to privately which I will do... and probably request photos.

Its long winded...but your privacy is important and I need to protect my site from spam.

Stephen
